BrickArms® M1919

Finding the water-cooled M1917 heavy and cumbersome, the US Army sought out a lighter, air-cooled option as they faced German Maxim light machine guns in the trenches of WWI. Missing the end of the war, Browning's new M1919 design would go on to see a lengthy service life through WWII, Korea, and Vietnam with the US Military, and continues to see service worldwide today. During WWII it was served by a 5 man crew of squad leader, gunner, assistant, and two ammo bearing riflemen.
