WWII US Marine Scout Team - Saipan 1944

Showcasing Marines surveilling enemy movements, this Life Magazine photograph caught my eye due to the unique equipment combination. Likely belonging to a reconnaissance or scout unit, both Marines pictured are equipped with Thompson SMGs, which would be issued along with carbines to specialist troops. 

To depict the T-shirt clad Marines, these figures come specially overprinted on official Lego torsos with dual molded sleeves. No short-sleeve flesh printing on the arms! Each figure comes equipped with the standard Marine Corps web equipment belt, Marine canteen carrier, army first aid pouch, and thompson magazine pouch. To match the photo, I've included the binoculars case as well the the binoculars themselves slung around the neck of the figure, as well as the unique detail of a signal corps tool pouch on the back of the others belt. I've also added new art for the Japanese Nambu pistol tucked into one Marine's belt, a popular war trophy in the Pacific. 

This pack would be an awesome addition to your figure lineup, showcasing another uniform variety common in the hot sun of the Pacific, or in your MOC to help add a pop of color among the figure selection.
