Gigantic Burritos - 3 Pack
The humble foil wrapped burrito, handed down from generation to generation for millenia, with its origins lost to time has now been painstakingly recreated in the medium of Lego. Each burrito hypothetically represents an ACTUAL burrito that was consumed by Lando L. Reimer, the artist and visionary behind this burrito experience.
EACH BURRITO proudly showcases an assortment of tortilla detail including accurate burrito butt folds and char marks. These are unique treasures that will be handed down for generations, just like actual burritos.
ok honestly I just thought it would be funny to make a burrito for minifigures and then use actual silver leaf to simulate the foil wrapping. I can honestly say this has been one of the most time consuming Lego project I've done. After testing a dozen adhesives, I hand to abandon the silver leaf idea and switch to a chromium paint & protective UV cured resin clearcoat. I applied both the foil-simulating chrome paint and the UV resin by hand, one burrito at a time. Incredibly time intensive and they honestly don't even taste like burritos at this point (DO NOT EAT).
Features:
-Authentic tortilla artwork with historically accurate charring
-Three genuine LEGO 1x2 oval tile simulating a comically large burrito.
-One burrito is un-foiled and two feature hand applied foil-simulate with INDESTRUCTIBLE* UV cured resin clearcoat.
-These burritos took more time to make than actual burritos.
-Art and printing by Lando (that’s me!) on genuine factory direct Lego bricks.
*Chromium coating wasn't as durable as I'd like so I opted for a UV resin clearcoat. It seems pretty durable now, but will NOT withstand teeth or chewing. (AGAIN DON'T EAT. I DON'T KNOW WHY YOU KEEP ASKING)
